In my rush to complain about the lack of good movies around (see below) I completely forgot a SUPERB FILM which I saw recently and ADORED. The entire Commentbox family loved it, which rarely happens. I should also point out that the protagonist IS MY GRANDPA. The one bad thing about this movie is that Grandpa is not here to see it!!!

I loved Up too. When the marriage montage was on I started crying even whilst I was saying to myself "it's an animation, the film's only been on for 10 minutes for heaven's sake". Couldn't stop myself.
I loved "Up," too! Saw it this summer with the kids while we were back in the US.
So creative. One of the few movies for kids I've enjoyed in a really, really long time.
Loved the protagonist! (Also loved the little scout...)
