To say that it was an extremely windy morning would be an understatement. It was actually hard to walk in a straight line, and wind whipped up the sand and flung it into my face as the rain bucketed down. But this did not stop me from taking photographs, because I simply had to show all of you how my beach looks on such a blustery day.
To my surprise, there was one other person at the beach this morning:
She was obviously training for the Berlin Marathon.

That crazy Eurolush.
I love your blustery beach.
You should see our rainsoaked mountains.
Yes, today was my long run: Germany to Australia...and back. Whew. The beach was my halfway point...loved it!
OMG.
word verif: fater
I'd better not be.
And if there would be a road, then she might give a try just for the heck of it, I BET.

Hey! My sister and I ran in the Berlin Marathon!!!
Well..... kind of ;-)
I did not know the Berlin Marathon required a gazillion-miles swim. Live and learn.
I'm not really a beach person, (too much sand and sweat), but days like that on the beach have their own terrible sort of charm.
(I mean that in a good way.)
You should tell everyone about the walking path that runs along the cliff in the first photo. Froggie could stand there to enjoy the beach without needing to get sandy or sweaty and we could cheer Eurolush all the way out to the horizon!
oh and wasn't it horrible, Eleanor. I began a post about the wild weather and ended up talking about poems instead!
