Watch my smoke

Kim at allconsuming reminded me of an old favourite from my teenage years. I can remember the LP record and putting the needle down over and over again on that ridge just before "Let's hear it for the boy." Sigh...

I was also really loving the Fame TV soundtrack. This was a favourite of mine, and if this clip doesn't make you laugh then I don't know what will!!!

d/Boy's ballet teacher told him how the England football (soccer) team take dance classes because it is such a work out. This was a brilliant way to show himjust what she meant. He is now asking me if that was a real occasion or a tv show. Aaaaah the ignorance of the young, so much to teach them.

I haven't actually seen that movie, but I think I need to. Gosh, I forgot how much I love Howard Keel. Calamity Jane is secretly my favourite movie ever. Don't tell anyone, I know it's terrible but I don't care ;)

I loved that film. I heard the remake is all glossy and skips over all the grit and drugs and sad bits.

I cannot tell you how much of a Kids from Fame fan I was. I can't. It would be embarrassing, and I would not be able to shut up.
