Have I got something to tell you!!!!

Today Ms CB and Master CB did the supermarket shopping for me.

We wrote the shopping list together, then I went to work, and Miss CB drove herself and her brother to the local supermarket.

They did the shopping, drove home, brought the bags into the house and put every single item away where it belongs.

I returned home this evening to find my fridge and pantry fully stocked.

Believe me when I tell you that the happiness I feel in response to this is HUGE.

HUGE I SAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To all the mothers out there who are still in the supermarket HELL stage - yes, I remember it like it was yesterday...the tantrums, the whining, the leaking nappies, the shrieking fits. To all you mothers I say loud and clear THERE IS A LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL.

That's what I had to tell you.

Good night xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I has all four boys with me today raising all manner of hell at Coles AND Woollies.

This provides a very dim light for me.

Really? Wow.

Perhaps you could work this into your quirky spin - you know 'Mom goes off to work leaving the children to do allotted tasks but some crrrrrrrazzzeee thing happens and they get drawn into solving the mystery/rescuing the unicorn all before Mom gets home from work'. And obviously it all ends with everyone laughing.

But I LOVE supermarket shopping.

Yep.
There's nothing like leaving a list and a card and coming home to a full pantry.
And it makes Oldest feel good too.

I know you won't believe me but little MissM was such good company when we went shopping that I missed her terribly when she went to school. She used to sit in the trolley and chat to me. She is still good fun to go shopping with. OK ... so I have slipped seamlessly into bragging now.

This notion opens up the realms of possibility of other things they can do for me, except take pap tests etc. They seem to come around with alarming frequency and I would love to palm that task off to someone. OX
